Here's how:

All CPSDS.org courses (restricted and unrestricted) are instructor led and free of charge for public safety agency employees attending a course hosted by an official public safety agency.

Restricted courses are not offered to private institutions or non-public safety organizations.

Some unrestricted courses might be offered to private institutions or non-public safety organizations, but are usually not free of charge. Please contact us for additional information.

Please take a moment to review these important requirements:

  1. Decide on the course(s) you would like to host and offer.
  2. Have a range of dates available (at least 90 days in advance).
  3. Ensure https://www.CPSDS.org is whitelisted through your agency / organizations IT department.
  4. Please communicate the training room occupancy capacity limit within your initial request.
  5. Should any course not be filled entirely by your agency / organization, you must agree to open the training to other regional agency / organizations / employees who wish to attend, as applicable.
  6. Must have sufficient parking, power outlets (for computers / laptops) for every seat, and reliable access to the internet through WiFi, hotspot, or other means available.
  7. The host organization is responsible for drafting, publishing, and distributing a training announcement or flyer for each hosted course offering.
  8. Student course registration portal will be provided by CPSDS.org.
  9. Please note, several courses require textbooks. Required book costs are the responsibility of the student or host organization.
  10. Should a training location be more than 100 air miles from the center of Washington D.C, the host organization may be responsible for instructor travel and/or instructor lodging costs.
